Love me a "friendship" that started unexpectedly between two contrasting women. A lolita fashionista that loves to be alone and doesn't want to have friends and a yanki biker girl who seems to be always angry. Love how their chaotic and confusing friendship turn into a soft and solid one as they spend much more time together.

To be blunt, it's like 'Amelie'. Only it's good.
Actually that's not fair as I did like that film and its not deserving of such a snarky comment.
This is certainly born of the same genus as Jeunet's 2001 movie, but replace its quirk and kook with a gleeful lunacy only the Japanese can muster, and you get 'Kamikaze Girls'.
So what has it got? Well it has lovably oddball characters all over but it's leads are where it's at. Sweet, naive Rococo girl, Momoko Ryugasaki (played wonderfully by Kyôko Fukada) is a quality seamstress and embroiderer obsessed with 18th century…
