scott michael foster i love you but i am never sitting through this sober ever again
there's a scene more than halfway through this movie where the manager of this island (whose sole industry is weddings apparently) approaches the main love interest's sister and her fiancé and tensely says "i have to speak with you", and the music gets extremely somber, and i thought for half a second... "oh no, someone died". turns out that some of the flowers for their ceremony wilted. the somber music swelled. the bride slowly let the news sink in and ran off in tears. the issue gets solved almost immediately. i cracked the fuck up at how unnecessarily dramatic it was.
also, at the end of the movie both 30-something leads have quit their only jobs, with the plan to hit the road and play music. i love that hallmark movies don't even try to be centered in reality
the things i watch for two-time tony nominee laura osnes
I will watch whatever Scott Michael Foster is in, but this was pretty boring
Three stars because the amount of charm and sex appeal
that Scott Michael Foster brought to this should be illegal. For a man with no lips he always does it for me.
***an hour after watching I just kept thinking 3 stars was way too many stars so I changed it but kept my review***
Cute movie. I like the little hallmark movies. This one was fun to watch. I loved the music.
I went onto the channel Movies24, and saw that this was about to start so I thought why not. I love Movies24 because they show the absolute WORST films ever made, and I love a hilarious bad film, and this one definitely was a cringe feast, but at least this film actually made sense!
This is definitely one of the most cringeworthy films i’ve seen recently, especially the acting. Not even the music was good in this, like who told those people they can sing😳. And that girl with that super annoying screechy voice was driving me crazy, but at least the scenery was really nice. The end was kinda sweet but overall nothing special and had super shit dialogue.…
anyway once the the notebook musical ends up on broadway i hope it’s led by laura osnes and jeremy jordan it’s what i deserve
this would’ve been better with jeremy jordan except the two leads are named bonnie and clyde and they’re not singers but they actually rob banks
