  The strangest phenomenon known to cinema is that, in the same year of WandaVision & Loki & Falcon and the Winter Soldier & Black Widow & Shang-Chi, this is the first rotten movie of the MCU. 

  Absolutely baffling.

  I’m not even saying this is great. Far from it. But just by default it’s easily Marvel’s best project of 2021. 

  Idk. Maybe the Marvel fandom is upset because only ~one~ character was unabashedly obnoxious in their humor, rather than 95% of the cast.

  Let this be a lesson to Marvel. You start making content fit for literal children, they’re gonna throw a tantrum the moment you try anything remotely mature.

  1) sprite’s hair is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen.
  2) why did thena just stand there while gilgamesh was killed?
  3) why didn’t thena and gilgamesh fuck?
  4) was richard madden this bad on game of thrones?
  5) why doesn’t gemma chan emote?
  6) why did kingo just leave? i get he didn’t want to fight but he could have still been there.
  7) why didn’t druig and makkari fuck?
  8) the ikaris and sersi sex scene was hilarious.
  9) why wasn’t angelina jolie the star?
  10) what was up with that deviant who talked?
  11) why did sersi love ikaris? 
  12) why did ikaris love sersi?
  13) did ikaris and ajak fuck?
  14) why did sprite love ikaris? 
  15) was the movie edited with a knife?

  obviously under heavy embargo, but wow! Marvel has really outdone themselves this time. Incredible visuals ripped straight out of Nomadland with some amazing callback's to Chloe Zhao's previous work, like Nomadland and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Ending it on 20 minutes of Kingo laying pipe was a bold decision, but it just solidifies Chloe Zhao as one of the best MCU visionaries. No spoilers, but the post credit scene is insane! (frances mcdormand's van slowly appearing from the dust had me screaming).

  this was a loveletter to heroes as a whole and proves that no matter who you are, there is a hero for you to relate and connect too.
