SS Special Section Women
Tonight's movie Deported Women, was my first real foray into the Nazisploitation subgenre. Although to be fair, I had seen Tinto Brass' Salon Kitty before as a teenager.
I feel like this subgenre is going to be an exercise in bad taste, even more so than my usual stuff. This movie has such an unfortunate title, I thought I would get it out of the way it first.
But I must say, for a movie with this title, it all felt.. dare I say.. rather tame!?
To me this got more into drama territory. Sure there are exploitive elements (nudity and some vile stuff) but it was a lot less than I was expecting.
Deported Women is a fairly well…
You have to be a fan of this shit to enjoy them. It's almost always the same. Women arrive, shower scene with close ups on their private parts, some torture, lesbian rapes and revenge from the prisoners on the guards. But this one has John Steiner as the craziest, unintentionally funny ass Nazi bastard in love I've ever seen on this genre. He's in love with Tanya, a prisoner, but he was in love with her before the war, you see, she rejected him and now she's under his domain to do as he likes. Her strength elicits both rage and admiration. Enough to produce some pee your pants lines like: "You have to look!" "She's a prostitute! That's aaaall!"…
Enjoyable nazisploitation that ticks off most of the subgenre boxes, but is less exploitative. I like the sleazy camp commandant (John Steiner!) and his former object of lust theme - a bit of a obsessive, Night Porter vibes and nice revenge at the grande finale.
By the standards of the genre, "Deported Women" is very well made and not as exploitative as many of its contemporaries. Silvestro carefully researched the hierarchy of such prison camps, and the film presents a version of life in such a camp that is more realistic than cheaper “Nazisploitation” films that would follow it. That is not to say, of course, that there are no exploitation elements here: the film frequently shows its female prisoners in the nude, and there are scenes of male and female guards fraternizing with the prisoners (sometimes consensually, sometimes not). As difficult as these films often are to watch, "Deported Women" is an example of one which was made with some care (including a typically great score by Stelvio Cipriani) and at least a nod to historical authenticity.

When I watched this nazisploitation on video the image was horrible, but the numerous nude and torture scenes held my interest.
It always shocks me at the production values put into these Italian Nazisploitation films, the score is amazing, and the acting is actually pretty solid throughout. Yes, like all Nazisploitation films this checks off all the sleazy boxes, but you can still tell that under all the sleaze there is a master at work named Rino Di Silvestro. Sure there is tons of nudity, rape, and insane violence, but it all looks good. Definitely not for everyone, but exploitation fans should rejoice at this hidden gem that does a fine job of delivering some tension with all of the sleaze.
Another in the long line of apparent Nazi lesbian prison camps that if historically correct was rampant during wartime. So basically a train car full of nubile beautiful women are divided into various departments of the prison to satisfy the deviant guards. Pretty decent entry in the genre.
Promised so much, delivered very little. I've very much forgotten parts of it already and it only finished a few hours ago. Only scene worthwhile was the old 'razor blade up a girls hoohah', literally cutting one poor man down to size.
Deported Women Of The SS: Special Section - One of two Nazi sexploitation movies starring John Steiner (the creepy looking guy that played Longinus in Caligula), proving Steiner really loved his work in the genre. Steiner tries to convince one of his prisoners to fall in love with him through humiliation and exposure to hellish tortures. The typical beatings, lesbianism, and shaving scenes we come to expect from the il sadiconazista cycle—all held together by Steiner’s maniacal performance. Deported Women of the SS: Special Section was the film that introduced the razor-blade-up-the-vagina method of rape defense.
This is a much more interesting Nazisploitation film. It has a much more involved plot.
Several women are taken by train to a camp where they are subjected to various disgraces by the camp commanders. However, one of their number plans a daring escape.
John Steiner plays an absolutely insane, sadistic camp commander and it is amazing.
