Sure, this documentary is full of cringe, especially Michael Synergy's claims of toppling governments, but there's plenty to appreciate. They did the legwork to get some interesting interviews, and I love hearing William Gibson discuss the contrast between his cyberpunk fiction and his real-life technological naiveté.
These people, a healthy mix of optimistic and cynical, make enough outlandish prediction about the future to fill a CD-ROM. But if you took a deeper look, most of these claims about online communications, nootropics, and medical breakthroughs have already come true, and more are on the way.
An interesting time capsule with buckets of bizarre visuals. If you're interested in cyberpunk, you probably won't learn anything new, but you'll probably want to see this for the funnies and feels.
