Haven't stopped thinking about it, one of the scariest movies I've ever seen, one of the best endings...
A masterclass in blocking, editing, with consistently incredible single take cinematography. More than any film I can think of, it really made me feel like I was encased within every room.
And that's all aesthetics, but emotionally, thematically there's so much brewing here...But, truly unnerving, epic and haunting.
I'm too dumb to articulate thoughts on this, if you want something that beautifully marries the arthouse ethos with a more straight forward hook, then this couldn't be better. Almost like Exorcist 3:Legion in that way, but also very much like if Kubrick directed something like Se7en.
But also, very much its own thing - a new fav.
