Not gonna lie, this was so fun lol. Leave it to Black Mirror to not only get the chance to do this idea but do it in the most hilarious and disturbing way possible. It’s way too WE LIVE IN A SOCIETY a lot of the time but towards the end I feel they were pretty aware how ridiculous it is. I’ve watched a few Black Mirror episodes and really enjoyed them so this really makes me want to plow through the rest.

Charlie Brooker's lecture on determinism is -- surprise! -- initially novel but ultimately kind of a smug edgelord slog. Look I'm on record thinking "Black Mirror" just generally sucks, with very limited exceptions a collection of trite gotcha stories dressed up with tired tech phobia.* But whatever. Even if I'm wrong about that this choose your own adventure thing is a corny gimmick and a frustrating experience, endlessly forcing you to make choices you know will lead to trouble just to further the narrative, like a bad Dungeon Master. Plus I kept trying to point the guy toward healthy decisions like taking his medicine or seeing his therapist, but of course those only lead to failure because it's apparently no…
