What follows the freezing shot? Well, if you have ever wondered, this short sequel to the classic The 400 Blows has the answer for you. And spoiler alert: not much has changed.
In the original film we witnessed his journey through life and learning how to grow, this time we see him trying to find some love while keeping his job at a record store. He however has an unpopular and rebellious personality, which could prove a challenge. Jean-Pierre Léaud is still excellent as Antoine, to me he portrays the character's rebellious spirit in a captivating way. But he appears a bit timid at times, so he plays on the character's insecurities well.
All in all, while not quite as great and groundbreaking as the original, this is still a decent follow-up that fans will enjoy.
