imagine going over to ricky's house for a dime bag and he's just sitting there watching a video he recorded of a dead cat in a dumpster or something and he senses your presence and says "i watch this every day at exactly 3:41pm. it reminds me that i'm not alone in the world" and then he starts crying and you're just like "ricky... the weed"
Janie, today I quit my job. And then I told my boss to go fuck himself, and then I blackmailed him for almost sixty thousand dollars. Pass the asparagus.
lana del rey watched this and went "yep, i'm gonna base my career off of angela hayes"
um HELLO..... why do we not talk about how shawn mendes has been directing from such a young age?? like he literally made this at 1 year old 😍
I feel like I've been in a coma for the past twenty years. And I'm just now waking up.
What is your purpose in life? How do you see yourself? How do you interact with other people? Is your life turning into one big routine?
This film teaches you how to look closer at life, discover new things, and have a better understanding and appreciation of human nature. Never judge a book by its cover; there is always much more hidden underneath the surface.
Triumphs in all areas. We can all learn something from this film.
An amazingly inspirational piece with a stunning score from Thomas Newman. Sam Mendes does us proud.
i had to watch this movie for a screenwriting class with a professor who says this is a "perfect movie." and a year ago i would have agreed with him. but post-#MeToo this movie just doesn't hold up.
when my professor asked if anyone had seen this, i was the only person to raise a hand. he asked when i saw it, and i said many times, that it used to be one of my favorite films but now was tainted by kevin spacey. my professor then proceeded to ask if everyone "knew what happened with kevin spacey" (like, of course we all know, we're film majors and up on entertainment news?? rude, also way to avoid saying "sexual assault"),…
Watched with friends, had to show em for the first time. Conflicting, yes, but there are so many reasons for why I often tie this with FMF for my fav of all time. Hits hard, changed how I looked at film, first film that ever seemed to just dive into my mind and get me to try to understand everything about myself.
