Filipe Furtado’s review published on Letterboxd:
Somehow very dense and almost complete barebone, a mix that serves Mann freeform pulp extremely well. Those night shots remain an amazing what if for a different idea of digital cinema. Foxx and Cruise offer Mann some strong fresh to put against his digital exploration which is great because the movie really loses steam when they are offscreen. Considering Collateral has some very good action and only functional script, it remains impressive how strong their back and forth is much more a function of the actors and how Mann links them.
