I don’t know what to say. Where do I even begin?! If you thought The Witch was something, let me tell you, you ain’t seen NOTHING yet. Robert Eggers created one of the most engaging and perfect movies of the year. With the help of career defining performances by Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, the most beautiful cinematography I’ve seen all year and a narrative that will make your jaw drop to the floor, I’m very confident in saying that The Lighthouse is a masterpiece. Whatever it is you are doing now, please stop and get your ass to a movie theater. Can’t wait to see it again!
