Review In A Nutshell:
Does Lisa truly embody the evil of humanity? Is Johnny the purest representation of virtue, and is his manifestation of violence and rage merely a corruption by this evil’s presence? Did Wiseau’s process of shaping the character of Mark in the script stemming from biographical elements? Is The Room a cautionary tale of the consequences that are rooted from injustice and faithlessness? What kind of drugs was Denny using? As Denny have said upon such a question, “It doesn’t matter.” The Room is a vacuum of confusion, ambiguity, and ironic incompetence that simultaneously stir and boggles the mind. To watch the film is personally insufferable, but to be amongst the company of few or many, The Room is intriguing, excitable, and euphoric.
