I swear to god I'm not as fucked up as my favorites suggest.
THIS is how you make a biopic.
I fucking love this, I remember watching it a very long time ago on an airplane, there where no subtitled and because of the fast paced nature of the movie I got a bit lost, but at the time I remember really liking it.
Fast forward to today, I learn this was written by Aaron Sorkin and everything clicked, but it also meant I had to rewatch it.
I loved it again.…
I'm not sure if 9/10 or 8/10, so I could edit this tomorrow. But I'll leave it at 9 for the time being.
This is one creepy movie, even today.
I can't imagine what it must have been seeing this when it was released.
I was hooked from the beginning, I love movies that take its time to set up everything perfectly— characters, dinamics, setting, atmosphere, plot.
It made me really uncomfortable, and seeing it in the cinema was an experience.
I liked this more than Titane.
A friend said it's a coming of age and I can't believe I didn't realize that sooner, It's so interesting when analyzed like that and i'm interested in watching it again through that lens.
That said, I really enjoyed it nonetheless. Ducournau writes interesting characters, I'm interested in seeing more of her.
