  loved the animation, the art, the colors, the non-human designs, and all the circular imagery. however i couldn’t really get into the story. i do like johnny’s loyalty to nelly, but that’s about it. i was honestly bored through much of the film and didnt really find johnny compelling either. movie’s also filled with nationalism, racism, and sexism which sucked, but ig not too surprising.
