    Don't Look Up

This movie would have been a lot better and shorter if they had focused on just the main storyline instead of weaving in an infinite amount of irrelevant subplots and jumped back and forth between scenes the whole time. Nevertheless, it made my mom cry from laughing. It also made my brother and I cry from cringing. I don’t know what Netflix was thinking when they made this.

What a ride! This movie left me speechless and in desperate need of a hug. It is one action-packed, crazy fun, but also brutal film. Tom Holland’s best outing as Spiderman if you ask me. Too bad my country is likely going into lockdown again this week because I really need to watch this again to appreciate it to its full extent.

    Twenty Something

When I was 18, I moved countries, started living on my own, and going to college. I was far away from my parents, had to build an entire social life from the bottom up, was adjusting to my new surroundings, and going to classes while having to deal with society all on my own. I hardly recognized the person I was becoming because I was drowning in the overwhelming responsibilities you have as an adult.Β Even now at 20, I’m struggling to keep my head above water. It’s great to see this alienating feeling depicted onscreen and it’s great to see that I’m not alone in this.
