"You're going home, blood. You're going home, blood. Come on, now."
Talk about a movie that just has so much movie in it. You know what I mean? It feels like an epic from Spike Lee and it's all the better for it. I loved it. It's equal parts harrowing, heavy, emotional and powerful. I got such a clear sense of the history between these four Vietnam war veterans and all the baggage they've carried from their time in service onwards. Such great performances all around and it really hits home the message that war unfortunately just doesn't leave some people.
Another excellent joint from Spike.
