I’m speechless. There is so much I could say about this film such as how good the cinematography is or how amazing the performances are, however, I just want to say how incredibly genuine this entire film feels. The film got such a powerful emotional response from me, I broke into tears multiple times throughout the film and it’s from a mix of so many things such as the fantastic performances or the beautiful sound design which really brought me into the world of the film, but ultimately the film just feels like Alfonso Caurón actually cared deeply about the story he was telling. Roma is easily one of the best of year and deserves all of the awards it’s going to win.
