Michael Falconi’s review published on Letterboxd:
A pulpy, textural piece of filmmaking. I would without a doubt continue to watch more from this world. The balance of world building and telling a compelling narrative felt just right. This thing was right up my alley.
Pedro Pascal! Holy shit, that dude was magnetic the entire movie. There’s equal parts menace and charisma in his talkative, wiry character.
The final five minutes or so weren’t my favorite, though. I was a bit disappointed they didn’t quite stick the landing.
