This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

(My first attempt at an actual analysis, this movie's available on tubi.tv btw. Some spoilers for the Housemaid and Woman of Fire. I try to discuss and reflect on the moral differences between Myeong-ja (Woman of Fire) and Myeung-sook (Housemaid)

Insanely original, painfully underrated Japanese horror that most closely resembles the Hong Kong horrors of the 80s and the big monster movies of the 50s and 60s. Super short, very entertaining and available on YouTube.

If that doesn't sell it enough, check out an actual(!) screenshot from the movie: imgur.com/a/X6cQd1K

But, in my opinion, this adds a lot to the charm of this film.

    Very recommended!

Kind of dreading writing this review, because I know that this movie is loved by a lot of my mutuals. But I spent about 90 percent of the movie thinking about how stupid the characters were being and being increasingly annoyed by the fact that every character seemingly only knew how to make vague statements that only worsened their situation. A LOT of the conflicts in this movie could be resolved if the people just talked. Why would…
