    Rewatched this in 4K HDR with Dolby Atmos.

    Denis Villeneuve managed to craft a tragic and densely epic sci-fi masterpiece that is intriguingly otherworldly. It’s not a typical blockbuster, but rather one of the few big-budget auteur pieces out there, deserving of every accolade it has received. In regards to my experience this time around, the crisp detail is shown on “film-grain-heavy” display here and the enhanced sound design was perfectly done.

    Rewatched this in 4K HDR with Dolby Atmos and in IMAX format.

    Holy fuckin’ shit! What a visual and auditory spectacle! As much as I do not like the story, the characters, the writing, and even some of the acting, I’ve got to give James Wan some credit when it came to creating a comic book-y thrill ride that rides a massive scale. The colors truly pop in nearly every shot, and it looks so cool, man.
