  • Eternals

    Eternals

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👌🏻68% - Eternals doesn’t really hold up after a rewatch. While I was watching this what I was really thinking was “I wish I could be watching No Way Home right now”. It’s not because No Way Home is so amazing, but because Eternals isn’t that great. I mean No Way Home is absolutely fantastic but if I were watching something like Shang-Chi instead I wouldn’t be feeling the same way. My main problem with the movie is that it…

  • Scream 2

    Scream 2

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👌🏻65% - This is my first time watching Scream 2 and although it’s not bed, it’s definitely not in the level of the original. I had an enjoyable time but it wasn’t that great. I’ll admit I was spoiled for who the killer were in this movie but I was also spoiled for the killers in the first movie and that movie was way less predictable than this one. The scenes where ghostface is gonna murder someone and takes forever…

  • Encanto

    Encanto

    ★★★

👌🏻66% - Encanto was honestly just alright in my opinion. There were way too many songs IMO and it made the actual plot take too long to progress. The film had some cute moments and some very heartfelt moments and if they did more of those instead of just a ton of songs I would’ve appreciated this movie more. Overall the movie’s fine but just nothing new from Disney.

  • Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

    Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👌🏻60% - Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is a really frustrating film. I think if you take it away from the book then it’s an entertaining film but if you compare it to the book, the film fails as an adaptation. Unlike the first Maze Runner book, The Scorch Trials is actually a great book. This Scorch Trials is however not a great movie. There are so many differences between this and the book that really annoy me. One that…

  • Red Notice

    Red Notice

    ★★★

👌🏻66% - Red Notice is alright. If it weren’t for the cast then this movie would have a lower score. The cast is just so fun, especially Ryan Reynolds. Other than that it’s a mediocre action film with a few interesting twists in there. It also goes against some cliches but it’s nothing new. However the fun cast makes the movie fun enough for a watch.

  • Army of the Dead

    Army of the Dead

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👌🏻67% - After watching Army of Thieves, I thought it’d be cool to rewatch Army of The Dead and I actually liked it more than I did before. Some of the flaws just felt less noticeable but damn I still HATE KATE. She’s just one of the most annoying and stupid characters EVER. SHE COMPROMISED THE MISSION. However every scene with Dieter was just great because of Army of Thieves and his death was pretty sad. This movie made me…

  • Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins

    Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins

    ★★★

👌🏻64% - I’m surprised to say that I didn’t dislike Snake Eyes. It’s not great by any means but it’s entertaining. I’m not well versed in the G.I Joe world at all and I’ve heard G.I Joe fans didn’t enjoy this so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it more than most. The biggest problem here for me is outside of the action not much interested me. The performances were good, the action was very shaky but still quite fun and…

  • Venom

    Venom

    ★★★

👌🏻63% - Venom is slightly better than I remembered but it’s nowhere near perfect. The plot is incredibly messy, the villain sucks but the movie has some good entertainment value. Once Venom enters the film in the 2nd half that’s when I gets good. The first half kinda sucks but Venom saves this movie. “Like a turd, in the wind” is an iconic line. Plus Eminem’s Venom song. There is so much wrong with this movie but I really was…

  • Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms

Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms

    ★★★

👌🏻65% - Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of The Realms was entertaining but kind of disappointing. I was digging the first 2 acts but then the ending definitely dropped this movie for me. This movie feels like 2 movies crammed into 1. When the film only has an 80 minute runtime they should not be squishing so much into this. They of course do the tournament which is what was advertised but then there was 1 other plot line which can…

  • The Matrix Revolutions

    The Matrix Revolutions

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👌🏻68% - I really don’t know how to review The Matrix Revolutions. There were some great battle scenes, some good payoffs, and it was entertaining. However some story choices didn’t work for me particularly with Neo and Trinity. I felt like Neo didn’t get much to do until the last 30 minutes and Trinity dying took away from the ending of the last film which was a lot about saving Trinity. The stuff on Zion was really cool and even…

  • Fear Street: 1994

    Fear Street: 1994

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👌🏻65% - I rewatched the entire Fear Street trilogy and I liked all of them more this time. I started 1994 last night and I finished it this morning. It’s the weakest of the trilogy IMO but not bad. The other movies just make this movie better. When I first watched it I didn’t like our 2 leads Deena and Sam and I feel the same way about them for this film. However I liked them more in future movies…

  • F9

    F9

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👌🏻64% - After watching the entire franchise and now F9 the movie did get worse. It’s still better than 8 and it’s entertaining but it’s a terribly made film. I hope the future movies get less stupid because this one just went too far for me. I really liked seeing the Tokyo Drift crew back in the film and them seeing Han at the end was really satisfying. The movie has its moments and if you want me to go more I depth with the film read my other review.
