  • Scream

    Scream

    ★★★½

👍🏻78% - Scream (or what is really Scream 5) was actually a pretty good film. The final act got a bit too meta and there are many conveniences in this film but other than that it was quite good. The kills weren’t  amazing but pretty good, I saw one of the killers coming a mile away but the other one surprised me, and I actually really enjoyed the characters in this movie. They also didn’t use the legacy characters much…

  • Scream 4

    Scream 4

    ★★★½

👍🏻75% - Scream 4 is quite easily my favorite since the original. The kills are gnarly, the scares are great, there are plenty of great twists, it’s meta but not too meta, and I enjoyed the new cast. The only reason I would say I don’t think it’s a great movie is because it doesn’t have any great characters. I like that they continued the relationship between Dewey and Gale instead of having another will they won’t they film but…

  • Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👍🏻77% - My Harry Potter rewatch continues with The Chamber of Secrets and it’s a good follow up to the original. I find the movie to be too long and even though it’s only a bit longer than the first movie, the first movie had a lot of world-building to do and tell it’s story where as this movie is just one story with much less world building. The movie did not to be this long. You can feel the…

  • 6 Underground

    6 Underground

    ★★★½

👍🏻73% - 6 Underground was a surprisingly enjoyable film. I had a uhhh where I had nothing to do so I figured I just put this on and I didn’t regret it. In fact I was surprised how much I enjoyed this film. There are a lot of conveniences in the film but the characters are fun, the action is really well done and it’s a fun Netflix film. The cast is great and the parkour is really awesome. Overall this was just a fun movie with some great violence which is always fun.

  • Don't Look Up

    Don't Look Up

    ★★★½

👍🏻78% - Don’t Look Up was an all around really enjoyable time with a fantastic cast. The humor was a bit much at times for me and this isn’t necessarily the most rewatchable film but it was just really solid to me. The performances were amazing and I really appreciated the social commentary in this movie. All around just a good, solid movie.

  • Venom: Let There Be Carnage

    Venom: Let There Be Carnage

    ★★★½

👍🏻74%  - I rewatched Let There Be Carnage because my aunt hadn’t seen it so we watched it and had a fun time. I liked the movie more upon rewatch actually because this movie really flew by. I get that the movie is 90 minutes but it didn’t feel like it was. This movie is just a blast and I still have my issues, but I was able to turn my brain off and just have fun with it. I know Carnage was kinda underwhelming because of the missing R-rating but I had fun watching this film. It’s silly but a blast.

  • 8-Bit Christmas

    8-Bit Christmas

    ★★★½

👍🏻73% - 8 Bit Christmas is a really cute Christmas film. It’s nothing to write home about b it was just really enjoyable. There’s not really anything to spoil here but it was a good little film.

  • Hawkeye

    Hawkeye

    ★★★½

👍🏻79% - That’s my score for Hawkeye episodes 1 and 2. I thought both were thoroughly enjoyable episodes of TV and right now it’s hard to judge the quality of the show since it’s just the first 2 episodes but so far it’s really enjoyable. It’s nothing mind blowing which is why I don’t go higher with my score but just a good and fun show. This isn’t really Hawkeye’s show, it’s Kate Bishop’s show which is unfortunate because I…

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron

    Avengers: Age of Ultron

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👍🏻75% - My cousin is rewatching all of the MCU movies and he was up to Age of Ultron so we just watched it together. It’s a good movie. This movie is just an easy watch. Seeing the Avengers fighting bad guys is just fun. What I really appreciated in this rewatch was how The Avengers felt like a family. We had them together for the whole movie and it’s the only movie to have that. I really appreciated it.…

  • Army of Thieves

    Army of Thieves

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👍🏻78% - Honestly, Army of Thieves was a really enjoyable film. I actually enjoyed it a good bit more than I enjoyed Army of the Dead. The way it ties in with that movie is really interesting end I’m excited to rewatch Army of the Dead to see if I like it more because of how much I liked this movie. My main problem with this movie is the cop guy who was chasing down the crew here. He was…

  • The Amazing Spider-Man

    The Amazing Spider-Man

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

👍🏻75% - You know what, The Amazing Spider-Man is actually pretty good and it’s better than I remembered. My main issue is the lizard isn’t a good villain IMO. His plans seem to change very quickly and I also don’t like his design that much. I wish he looked more like his comic book counterpart. Another issue I have is that I simply like the Raimi version better. Since that is the case for me I am going to rewatch…

  • Halloween Kills

    Halloween Kills

    ★★★½

👍🏻75% - Halloween Kills is by far the most frustrating movie of the year for me. I loved the first hour and a half of this movie and I was thinking this could be better than H2018 but then the last 10 minutes happened. It’s not just that the movie ends on a cliffhanger leading into Halloween Ends, the ending was genuinely unsatisfying with what they do. This is so frustrating because I loved so much of the movie but…
