Wow, Steven Spielberg, truly a visionary.
However, I was very confused when I found out Indiana Jones isn't a woman and this isn't her origin story...
The moment from the opening I understand that Spielberg is a master of his craft, the first few minutes of the film is constant motion which engages the viewer as well as the extravagant costumes keen our eye.
Example - as the dancing ladies go up the stairs, we are introduced to another character - a man going downstairs.
The characters eyes, camera movement, characters entering the screen and exiting. Constant movement.
And the first conflict is introduced so quickly with the use of clever props such as the spinning table to negotiate.
There's some serious set design, that I love, it's absolutely kicking! Giving me serious Scooby Doo live action movie vibes.
Why is he sweating so much? My man should see a doctor.
Other than it's a bit outdated with the depictions of foreign people and representation of women, it's a solid, entertaining adventure!
