The humor can be pretty forced (believe me when I say Sox never misses though), the emotional beats feel a little too manufactured (except for that montage near the beginning that proves Pixar can still do effective visual storytelling when they try), and any attempt to create iconography that doesn't already exist as an action figure from the Toy Story franchise falls completely flat (it's honestly a bit embarrassing that the whole sci-fi action-adventure sub-genre is still just copy+pasting Star Wars 45 years later), but this is definitely the most times the phrase "time dilation" has ever been uttered in a children's movie so it gets major points for that.
And yes I will be tuning in for the inevitable Sox-centric Disney+ short
