"If you're kind and polite the world will be right"
- Paddington (aka the G.O.A.T.)
Obviously doesn’t have the scale of future MCU movies, but is able to reach heights that future ones can’t. It also plays the dynamics of the heroes against and with each other better than any future MCU, while giving each hero substantial character moments. I still remember being in the theatre and not understanding how they could put “so many” superheroes in one movie.
Really just is Memento but instead Anthony Hopkins is trying to figure out if he's having chicken for dinner.
For real though, The Father is a total horror movie about both sides of ageing and dementia. Definitely feels like a play, but Hopkins and Coleman are too good in it to let that matter.
