So I would have only given this movie 3.5 stars except that I'm a huge David Tennant fan girl. Overall the casting was very well done. I was very impressed with Colin Ferrell's performance. He had a great balance between totally hot and completely creepy at the same time. That is a balance few can achieve. His facial expressions and staccato movements of his body were key to making sure no one would mistake him for human unless he wanted…

    SPOILERS??

My cousin told me about this movie with some unintentional spoilers. Luckily, my short-term memory is lousy so I forgot them before I watched it. 😏

Despite everything, I cannot cancel Louis C.K. So when I discovered Pootie Tang, I wasn’t sure what to expect.  It was such a heart lifting joyful experience to watch!  I’d have to say, they had me at deflecting bullets with a braid.  I loved Wanda Sykes before , but she is brilliant as Biggy Shorty!  This is a great fun movie, but not if you don’t get satire or parody.

I enjoyed the performances in this movie a lot!  Robert Pattinson as the slick icky self righteous blood sucker was just what his role in Twilight should have been.  I also enjoyed how the storylines converged so well.  The Natural Born Killers couple seemed to be a much more realistic and appropriately unromantic representation of team killer dynamics.  I was glad to see how well Tom Holland adjusted to a slower paced southern character compared to the high amperage voice cracking Peter Parker.  Sometimes that’s a tough transition for actors especially when they play one character over multiple films.
