Will’s review published on Letterboxd:
i'm usually not one for character-driven stories, as my millenial attention span is very short and i often need some kind of plot to stay focused.
Roma, however, had me breathless from start to finish. by keeping things light and straightforward instead of trying too hard, it manages to get even the most demanding viewer involved in the story; not to mention the gorgeous cinematography and the spectacular performances it features.
even though some of the themes tackled by this film usually don't move me that much, this time, i felt involved, and that's why i'm grateful for this movie
