Josh Schonfeld’s review published on Letterboxd:
Daniel Kaluuya deserves the Oscar for this! This film was good, but I'm not sure I would put this into Best Picture. While the story of the Black Panther Party hasn't been told, the story of 1968 is fairly well-known, especially in recent years, so it felt redundant to me in parts. It did make me upset to know that the American public school system did not teach us anything about the Black Panther party and instead focused on the more peaceful protests of MLK.
