  Amazing visual effects coupled with a decent story … but neutralized by a ridiculous runtime. It amounts to a an eye-popping cartoon where 10 episodes were strung together. I wanted to hit pause by episode 5.

  An uncomfortably compelling watch. Great performances. You’re not going to feel good at the end of this movie, but you’re going to feel something. “Before Sunset” meets “Hard Candy.”

  I watched a documentary on the making of Alien 3. The taste it left in my mouth was sour enough that I had to watch Aliens — for the second time in three days — to wash it out.
