i know that i'm not the only person who thinks that this movie is a oscar worthy film... this movie might be one of the best i have seen in a long time. one of the things i've learned from the movie is that the gov't won't hear your voice until you make war. vinz, saïd and hubert did exactly that and one of their friends paid for it. my favourite part of the movie is when they all heard that abdel died and then vinz daydreaming of killing those cops but then saïd and hubert almost got beat up by some guys but vinz saved the day and threatend them with a gun (owned by a cop) and they held a guy hostage and vinz was planning to kill the guy but then hesitated... but hebert was mocking him by telling him to kill the guy but in the end... vinz couldn't (cause he was terrified of what happened before all of those things happened). lots of educational things happened in this movie on how society, cops and government treats people in reality (what happened in the film is still relevant to this day, imo.)
