  • Making a Murderer

    Making a Murderer

    ★★★★½

I know I'm late to the game but I finished the first part tonight. Thought I'd log it and share my thoughts before I went on to the second part. All I can say is wow oh wow I have never experienced so much frustration in my life. With this and everything else that has went on with the US justice system I am glad I don't live there. Excited to start the second part but know I'll likely be faced with further frustrations.

  • Roma

    Roma

    ★★★★

I can see why people are giving Roma 5 stars. From a filmmaking standpoint it is undeniably fantastic. However, for me it didn't quite hit that 5 star mark. There were points where I felt a tiny bit bored and wished it would speed up a bit. It probably isn't a movie I would watch again but overall I did enjoy it and can appreciate what it is.

  • Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

    Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

    ★★★★½

I've never experienced anything like this. The animation is mind-blowing. I'm not usually someone who is often blown away by the likes of animation in movies but this was an exception. It's definitely up there as being one of the best, if not the best, Spider-Man movies.

Also, 100% had a weird cartoon crush on Gwen Stacey.

This is my favourite Christmas movie of all time. It makes me so happy and I'm so glad I got the chance to see it at the cinema.

  • Home Alone

    Home Alone

    ★★★★

Can you believe I'm almost 23 years old and this was only my second time watching Home Alone? Because I can't. I'm gutted that I never grew up watching it but thankful it is finally going to be incorporated into every festive season from now on.

  • Gone Girl

    ★★★★★

Hadn't watched this since I saw it in the cinema. It's better than I remember.

  • Ralph Breaks the Internet

    Ralph Breaks the Internet

    ★★★★½

The first one is my favourite Disney movie so I was so excited to finally see this. It did not disappoint. I do understand why a lot of people are giving it the likes of 3 stars but I just love the characters so much I'd happily watch them do ANYTHING and still give it four stars or more. Being someone who loves social media and spends a lot of time on it and the Internet in general I enjoyed a lot of the references and I also loved that other Disney characters made an appearance too. Also shoutout to Vanellope's musical number.
