Serviceable and straight to the point no nonsense thriller, doesn’t get caught up with any stylistic choices, instead relying on an air tight plot and mounting suspense to execute its power. Pure chaotic calculated brilliance, a movie that throws so much at you in the span of 2 hours, commenting on everything from police procedures to lgbtq rights, but what I’m most enamored by in this is just how even in moments of “crime” (I put it in quotes because some people think sonny is in the right since he’s “making a stand” for lgbt, and using manipulative tactics bringing up Attica), people still crowd over any chance to get famous.…
