pcw does not like moms!!! show me a mom and i will write you a tragedy. I totally love this movie and think the script is just wretched, an incredible example of what great filmmaking and acting can do. every time i see mulroney show up on a screen i want to stand up and clap. what the hell is harmony korine doing here?

If I was a successful middle aged millionaire with lots of celebrity friends that reckoned with my own success by clinging to liberal cynicism as the core pillar of my creative identity, I would do something like this too. It would also be not very good, and a little bit embarrassing, if I spent so much time and money and power addressing the state of the social world with so much conviction that I accidentally showed how much more I care about being right than I do the people I consider myself Very Smarter Than. Purely hypothetical situation I dreamed up after watching this movie! Weird!
