I can’t even put to words what I watched, except for being one of the more unusually entertaining Films I’ve ever seen.

It’s an interesting combination of Movie genres, that somehow works brilliantly. From being a comedy with sport and crime thriller sub genres, it’ll keep you enticed/invested in watching it.

In terms of characters, John Goodman’s kind of overshadows Jeff Bridge’s, The Dude, at certain points with such intense delivery of his hilarious dialogue. Also, I was genuinely surprised of the star-studded cast, which included Steve Buscemi, Julianne Moore, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Flea, Sam Elliot, etcetera.

Lastly, slight spoiler, but my favorite scene was when John Goodman pulled out a gun on Smokey, played by Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and is screaming about how he seems to be the only one who cares about the rules, specifically, in terms of the sport of bowling when Smokey steps over the line. My other favorite scene was when John Goodman takes a crowbar and destroys the windows of a car, believed to be bought and owned by a teenager who stole a briefcase of money.
