Elazar Abrahams’s review published on Letterboxd:
Cancel me, I guess? Blonde is super exploitative, unnecessarily brutal, etc etc. However, it contains great performances and excellent filmmaking.
I honestly really dug it. The film is a rich text, in which I mean that even the worst parts (particularly the JFK scene and the fetus episodes) give you so much to mull over. They really thought they were doing something here. They absolutely were not, and have added nothing to the conversation. But they definitely thought that they did. Does that make sense?
