a film so special that i can recall each time i’ve watched it, and even remember how i was feeling at the time and why i turned to it. the rooms i was in. my freshman year roommate sitting on the bed next to me, not paying attention as i cried. also just incredible to revisit this & realize how lucky we were to see all these people gather for something so quiet and precise. before we really knew their names. but watching each performance, it’s so clear that it was just a beginning for them. 

feeling especially happy for lakeith today. even eight years later, it still feels like we’re just seeing him get started <3
