I was prepared to be underwhelmed, and went in with the mindset of checking something off the "influential anime" list. Was very happy to be proven wrong!

Interesting how Kaneda and the Colonel fill the roll of chaotic-good as the "alphas". The "betas": Tetsuo, the scientist, and Nezu, fully embrace chaotic-evil. Kinda the reverse logic of, say, Captain America, where "a weak man knows the value of strength, and knows...compassion." Curious.
