An interesting mesh of sci-fi and film noir with great performances and awesome cinematography. The story, though compelling, is very slow and predictable. The ending where Natacha (Anna Karina) says "I love you." to Lemmy (Eddie Constantine) is well done. The performances all around are terrific. Eddie Constantine is the standout as the hyper-masculine Lemmy Caution but Anna Karina is amazing as Natacha. The cinematography is the film's highlight. Director Godard and cinematographer Raoul Coutard do such a great job of creating the world of Alphaville with fantastic use of light and shadows.
