So, this is my favourite film but I don't think I've properly gone into why I love it so much. Because of this, I decided to rewatch it tonight and try to do a good enough review that explains why this is such an amazing film.

On the eve of a discover of an Earth-like planet, Rhoda (Brit Marling) is out celebrating when she drunkenly crashes her car and kills two people. Four years later, Rhoda leaves prison and cross…

Day 20 of JDsSpookypalooza2022 and the film today is Halloween Ends. I’ve found this latest trilogy of Halloween films to be a mixed bag as I enjoyed the first one a lot but found the second to be filler. While the reviews to this have certainly been mixed to negative, I was keeping an open mind because the trailers look pretty solid, and I was excited to see how it would end.

The film takes place a few years after…

Wish follows Asha (Ariana DeBose), a hopeful seventeen-year-old, as she goes on a thrilling adventure when her wish brings a magical star into her life.

While far from perfect, Wish is a fun and charming film about hope. The writing doesn’t do much in the way of new or unique, but it is compelling, decently paced and even hilarious at times. It also explores the idea of a magical star with abilities to grant wishes, which we all are familiar…

My quest to log all the Bond films on here continues with 2015’s Spectre. When I first rewatched this I thought it was just okay. I remember thinking it’s a well told story but most of it is pretty forgettable, so I am excited to see if my feelings have changed on rewatch.

The twenty-fourth film in the Bond series follows James Bond as he uncovers a criminal organisation with ties to his past.

While its flaws were once again…

The film follows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as he turns to fellow Avenger Dr Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to erase his Spider-Man identity from everyone's mind but in doing so unleashes new and more deadly foes from other universes.

No Way Home is up there as one of the best and most satisfying standalone MCU films. The writing, though a bit slow towards the end, is fantastic and utterly enthralling. It hits all the story beats…
