Joachim’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a fantastically executed and shot revenge epic in a setting that is sadly overlooked too often. I was honestly expecting more carnage, yet the film uses a lot of its runtime to build up the tension towards the inevitable revenge part. There are some scenes here that are truly remarkable and let my jaw drop to the floor. I was utterly captivated for the entirety of its runtime. Some story threads dragged a little but that is pretty much all I can criticize here.
