me actually being invested in a battle scene in a movie? very hard to do but mr. kurosawa managed to do exactly that!! 

some other thoughts: 

when shino was about to kiss katsushiro but got all flustered and fell back into the flowers and started hyperventilating and said “coward! act like a samurai!” to herself...perfectly captures my behavior around every crush i’ve ever had.

also, kikuchiyo downing a whole jug of saké and then enthusiastically running into battle with his whole ass out is me on a night out after my third glass of wine.
