Eddie White’s review published on Letterboxd:
I love it when a film you never even knew existed before, flaws you upon watching it. That's exactly what this film did. A beautiful, incredibly moving dream-like (and at times nightmare-like) visual ode to post nuclear Japanese society. The journey of a caterpillar turned elusive tropical butterfly through the lives of different Japanese people, is the delicate thread that weaves this immaculate story together. For all fans of Japanese cinema or just vivid and unforgettable images, this one needs to go straight into your watchlist if it isn't already there.
