Tossed this bad boy a rewatch cuz I felt like it. The first hour was superb, incredibly well paced and was super entertaining. The second hour was less so, just felt a little lackluster at points and overall just wasn’t as interesting. And then came the third hour. The third hour was just a little worse than the first but it was a ton better than I remember. It flowed through Mozart’s ultimate downfall and Salieri’s plan so well. Throughout…

Finally watched this bad boy. This certainly felt like a Tarantino film, had all the cool action scenes plus a bunch of gory violence. It was really entertaining and I really enjoyed Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette in the lead roles. The action scenes were fun and the plot was pretty cool. The biggest complaints I had were that some parts felt a little clunky and unnecessary but aside from that this was a really solid film that I did like. Also I really wanted more Christopher Walken bc he was amazing in that one amazing scene alongside Dennis Hopper.

I guess I sorta have a thing for movies about movies. This film was very clever for the most part with some incredibly well done moments. The first act of the film was near perfect, it was incredibly intriguing and kept me guessing. The rest of the film wasn’t necessarily bad but it just wasn’t as good. The flow felt a little off and the pace not as fluid. However Altman is still out here proving why he’s one of…

This movie was pretty fucking epic. Kinda felt like a crime that I watched this through HBO Max on my monitor rather than in IMAX. Anyway yeah I really liked this movie. So wonderfully paced throughout, it kept the viewer incredibly engaged, something Villeneuve does incredibly well. The visuals were off the charts incredible, so beautiful to look at. As for shortcomings, I didn’t find the script to be all that impressive, a decent amount of clumsy dialogue. It also…

Sorta forgot to log this but whatever. It was pretty good for the most part. The overarching storyline was pretty cool. The games were easily the best scenes and were done so well. That storyline felt like the only important one however. The whole cop infiltrating the place went absolutely nowhere and while well done, was entirely pointless. The scenes aside from the games were solid but felt a little slow and parts just felt incredibly unnecessary. Anyway good series for the most part.

As I watched this movie I realized yet again how damn fortunate I am to have such good parents who never fight and are always there for each other. Anyway this movie was incredible. The first half hour or so was a little slow but still good but the rest of the film was incredible. Gena Rowlands stole every scene she was in, a fantastic performance. The rest of the cast was great too but she just stands out. The…

Convinced my roommate to watch this one so yeah. I was very happy he wanted to watch this one because he is now the first person I have successfully convinced to watch this film. So yay me. This film I honestly loved even more on the rewatch. I was kind of half asleep on the first watch so this rewatch was very deserved. The acting throughout is very solid, especially from Costner, TLJ, and Joe Pesci. The writing is really…

Ok yes I did watch this movie. I was very sad after our football team’s loss to bowling fucking green and looked up feel good movies. So I watched this. I mean it is the opposite of my type but I did enjoy it a little bit. The concept was pretty neat and the acting of Reese was solid. It didn’t try and be more than it was, a decent movie that also makes fun of cheesy 80s movies. I mean it isn’t necessarily all that great, but at least it didn’t try and be all that great, that could’ve resulted in an even worse movie.

This was actually really good. A bunch of fantastic little scenes just developing the plot until the big payoff at the end. A super interesting and intriguing concept too. Definitely recommend to all, it’s a pretty short film and it is very engaging. Also that Miles David score was incredible. That man could play the goddamn trumpet.
