Fallen Angels 1995
I bought space candy and got violently high before going to the theaters to see this film. It was in mostly cantonese with dutch subtitles, and neither of them I speak, so it was definitely an interesting experience.
I barely understood anything that was happening so I started making up my own story. But the visual part of it was absolutely stunning so without understanding the storyline i was still mesmerized and intrigued the whole time.
Can’t wait to rewatch this and actually understand what’s going on because I know that this has more to offer than just the gorgeous cinematography.

I'm just disappointed that they didn't let anyone die. At least no one we cared about. The most captivating part of Scream was the suspense that nobody is safe. And where it tricks you into thinking that that's the case, everybody at the end is running around as if they were not just stabbed a bunch of times into their vital organs. This film really gets you feeling one way, only to completely do a 180 the next minute. And through all the twists and turns I was just sat there, completely mesmerized by Mia Goth’s performance. To deliver a monologue like that? Absolutely phenomenal. Can’t wait for the third film to come out.
