    I wasn't sure what I should've expected going into my first Denis film; all I knew was that I loved the cast, and decided to go for it. I can't really summarize my thoughts very well, but this is absolutely going to need another viewing. I loved the commentary on exploitation and the ruthless attitude society has on convicts.     The only right way to watch this is twice in one sitting. Seriously one of the best pieces of cinema I’ve ever consumed that I feel as if I’m almost entirely in debt to Claire Denis. I think I screen capped just about every single frame from this.
