I wrote this review really out of order, so bare with me.
I really did like Miles Morales in this movie, but his origin (not his whole story, just the origin) seemed a little too similar to the classic Peter Parker story. Bit by a radioactive spider, is an awkward high schooler, and loses an uncle. As a character he is very different, and the origin isn't a big deal, but I feel like Sony was kind of playing it…
