dylanrose’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not nearly as well composed as the first, but it is still such a good time. The pacing is off, and I can’t help but feel that if the movie just rid of the native scene and added more clarification, then both this and the third film woulda been way better off.
BUT! This film is fun and the climax is less well worked the firsts, but it is still so enjoyable and wild. The plot is wack, but it’s also competent.
Also Davey Jones’ design rules. So wacky, but it totally works.
The cgi still holds up today.
