Dylan Randazzo’s review published on Letterboxd:
Beautiful film. Another Round dives into both the highs and lows of alcohol consumption, feeling so honest in its themes and messaging, but never passing judgment on its characters. This could’ve just been another heavy addiction drama, but Thomas Vinterberg’s direction is so well done, and there is enough clever comedy woven throughout to really balance the film’s tragicomedy, resulting in a really fascinating final product. We still empathize with and care for these characters, despite their mistakes, and when they thrive, we thrive with them. The entire cast is strong across the board, but Mads Mikkelsen shines brightest, giving one of his career-best performances. I will definitely be back for another round of Another Round in the future.
