Andrew ❦’s review published on Letterboxd:
Meticulously crafted and wickedly inhumane, Hereditary is horror at its most genuine.
This is a brutally told story of family trauma met with pure, unspeakable evil. Evil that's been tackled in the genre time and time again, but not in this unforgiving manner. It looks you in the eye and assaults every fiber of your being until you are cowering in a corner, begging for something to help, but there's nothing. It eats away at your soul until you become nothing yourself. Your senses will be absolutely wrecked by the time the credits begin to roll.
I don't know whether being able to participate in this horror history in the making is an honor, or a curse.
