A worthless, inept film that despises both the horror genre and true queerness, failing to deliver anything but centrist ideas of morality and exclusively corporate empowerment, surprising no one. The creators of They/Them knew it was destined to cause both reactionary outrage and blind loyalty regardless of its contents, so there was no point in attempting to please its claimed target audience, let alone actually stir shit up (be it politically, formally, or just emotionally).
